What helps in the first week is not what helps in the sixth. Drainage first, then the tissue around the scar, then movement and shape. Each session is chosen for where you are, not for what is on a menu.

Swelling moves on its own schedule and the scar speaks up weeks later, so a single visit can only meet you where you happen to be that day. Most people book a run of sessions and space them to how their body is actually behaving rather than to a template.

Days 3 to 7
Gentle, short, and only where you have been cleared. Mostly it is about getting comfortable and knowing what is normal.

Weeks 1 to 3
Two or three sessions a week for most people. This is the stretch that does the most work.

Weeks 3 to 6
Once the surgeon clears it, we start on the scar and the tissue around it, and you learn what to do at home.

Week 6 onward
Sessions get further apart. Some people stop here, some keep one a month because they like how it feels.
I honestly can't recommend these lymphatic drainage massages enough from gabbi.. after surgery i needed to get lymphatic drainage massages to help with my fluid and from start to finish, every session was amazing. The studio is closed from 1 to 15 November. Online consultations pause for the same two weeks.
Most people book their first session within two weeks of surgery. If you are further along, come anyway. If it is too early, I will tell you and we will pick a date that works.
