Deep Tissue Recovery
Deep, focused work for tight, tired and overloaded muscles.

A targeted deep tissue massage designed to work into areas of muscular tension, stiffness and tightness. Using slower, deeper techniques, I focus on the areas that need the most attention while adapting the pressure to your body and comfort level.
Deep tissue does not mean unnecessary pain. The aim is effective, controlled work that helps release muscular tension and improve mobility while respecting how your body responds.
Who it is for
For anyone experiencing muscular tension, stiffness, tightness or discomfort caused by physical work, training, prolonged sitting, repetitive movement or everyday stress.
Particularly suitable for areas such as the back, shoulders, neck, legs and glutes. It can also be incorporated later in recovery where appropriate, but is not performed directly over recently operated or healing tissue.
Before you come
Stay hydrated, eat something light beforehand and let me know about any injuries, recent surgery, areas of pain or medical conditions before we begin. Tell me which areas are causing you the most discomfort so I can tailor the session to your needs.
Afterwards
Drink plenty of water and give your body time to recover. Some temporary tenderness can occur after deeper muscular work, particularly in very tight areas. Gentle movement and rest are recommended for the remainder of the day.
When I will not do it
Not over acute injuries, active inflammation, infection, open wounds, significant bruising, suspected blood clots or recently operated areas that have not fully healed. If you have unexplained or severe pain, medical assessment may be needed before treatment.
Treatment times are a guide, not a stopwatch. Every session is tailored to your individual needs, the condition of the tissue and, where it applies, your stage of recovery, so it takes as long as it needs to be done properly. A short consultation is completed before your first treatment.
